And Then There Were None, by Agatha Christie, is a suspense-filled production presented by BTHE Academy Students at Burge Terrace Baptist Church. This gripping performance will keep audiences on the edge of their seats as tension rises, secrets unravel, and the mystery deepens. Adding to the excitement, our cast will perform two different endings; one on Friday night and another on Saturday night. Choose your ending … or come to both performances to experience the full mystery! This event is perfect for The Home Educator community. Performance starts at 7 PM, with doors opening at 6:30 PM.
Burge Terrace Home Educators, affiliated with Burge Terrace Baptist Church, is dedicated to helping parents 'Train their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord' while glorifying God through the pursuit of academic excellence. We aim to partner with home-schooling families as they cultivate students who aspire to be young disciples of Jesus Christ and fulfill God’s purpose for their lives.
The BTHE Membership offers K5-6 grade students engaging subjects such as music, art, choir, and P.E. For grades 7-8, students may enroll in Social Studies, English, Science, Fine Arts, and P.E. High school students at Burge Terrace Home Educators can choose from core academic courses, dual-credit English classes, fine arts classes, physical education, and a variety of compelling electives.
BTHE's structured and comprehensive curriculum is designed to meet Indiana's educational standards, ensuring that the education students receive is recognized by colleges and universities.
High School Core Subjects at Burge Terrace Baptist Church include Dual Credit Classes, as well as a variety of electives such as Archery, Foreign Language, and Critical Thinking/Debate. Students can also explore American Sign Language (ASL), Art from Grades K5-12, and participate in Music programs including Vocal Ensembles and the High School Choir. Physical Education is offered through Taekwondo. Special events like the Fine Arts Talent Night showcase Speech, Drama, Art, and Music. The Academic Festival and Science Fair celebrate student achievements, while private music and vocal lessons enhance individual skills. There are opportunities for students to engage in Drama Camp, Early Literacy Intervention, and attend Parent Support Meetings. Field Trips and Service Projects enrich the learning experience, culminating in memorable events such as the Senior Class Trip and Kindergarten/High School Graduation Ceremonies. Additionally, Field Day offers a fun-filled day of activities for all students at The Home Educator.
