Our home-schooling academy values the importance of building a strong sense of community and fostering meaningful connections. We organize regular gatherings and social events that allow BTHE families to connect, share experiences, and support each other throughout their home-schooling journey. We believe that collaboration and a sense of belonging are essential components for a fully comprehensive education for our children.

New Families
New and interested families are required to complete a tour of the academy prior to beginning any enrollment proceedings. Tours are given by BTHE Director, Alicia Estes. Attendees should include at minimum one parent/guardian as well as the prospective student(s). An Admissions Packet will be given upon the completion of the tour. The forms need to be completed and returned to the BTHE Office for administrative review.
Upon ACCEPTANCE, a link will be provided to ENROLL your student(s); once enrolled, you may REGISTER for individual classes.
Annual BTHE Membership
Burge Terrace Baptist Church Members
- $120/Student
Non-Members of Burge Terrace Baptist Church
- $170/Student
Membership fees cover operating expenditures, such as insurance coverage per student, use of BTBC property, maintenance fees, registration processing fees, and BTHE's Thinkwave® School Management System for grading, assignments, attendance, transcripts, and Instructor email communication.
Re-enrollment opens near the end of March and invoiced in early August for the upcoming academic year.
Non-Academic Participant
Students not enrolled in BTHE academic classes have the opportunity to join activities such as, field trips, Talent Night, Academic Festival/Science Fair, and Drama Camp. This is a great benefit for your home school students that have siblings enrolled in classes at BTHE.
Annual Participant Fee
- $40/Student
Participation fees cover operating expenditures such as registration and processing fees, use of Burge Terrace Baptist Church property, maintenance fees, and insurance coverage per student.
Student Enrollment
Upon Membership/Re-Enrollment acceptance a link will be provided to enroll student(s).
- After receipt of your acceptance email, please complete all student forms and return to the BTHE Office.
- Once the student forms are reviewed & approved, another link will be provided to "Register Student for Classes/Electives."
- An email confirmation will be sent for the selected class registrations.
- Fees will be invoiced the beginning of August for the following school year (BTHE fiscal year August - July).
- Checks should be payable to "Burge Terrace."
- All classes are taught at Burge Terrace Baptist Church
- BTHE students enter Door #2 (Northwest side of campus)
- Doors are open 8:15 AM - 8:35 AM
- Doors are promptly locked throughout the entire campus for security purposes
- All other entries must enter Door #1 (North side of Burge Terrace Baptist Church) by the church office
