What is the cut off age for children to begin K-5 classes?
According to Indiana Department of Education guidelines, children registering for K5 Enrollment must be 5 years old on or before October 1 of the academic year.
I have a question about tuition and/or fees

Membership, Enrollment/Re-Enrollment and Class Registration Fees are invoiced the beginning of August for the following academic year. (August - May; 10-month tuition payment plan)
Why would a class selection be closed?
Classes have a minimum amount of students to form a full class. If minimums are not met BTHE is not obligated to offer the class for the semester/year.
Classes are closed once the maximum amount of students has been reached. Each instructor determines the maximum number of students allowed per class, the workload involved, and the ability to effectively teach the amount of students enrolled.
Are classes ever closed due to weather?
Yes. Since BTHE is on the same campus with Burge Terrace Christian School, we follow Burge Terrace Christian School's weather and emergency closure guidelines. Please watch the local morning news for closures and look for BURGE TERRACE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL. If we are not closed for the class day, please use your own discretion for safe driving discernment. Do you offer private music lessons?
Yes! Please contact BTHEoffice@burgeterrace.org for more information. On-site lessons are offered during the school day and after school hours as needed.

Is lunch Provided? ... SPECIAL LUNCH DAYS?
We do not serve lunch. Students at BTHE over the lunch hour are to bring their own lunch and drinks. We offer a "Special Lunch" on *Chapel Days where we select a local eatery and students pre-pay for their order. Administration places the order and picks it up to deliver to staff/students.

My child is sick, arriving late, need to pick up early ...
Email BTHEoffice@burgeterrace.org or call (317) 862-5329; leave a voicemail if no answer. The BTHE Entry Door (#2) is locked promptly at 8:35 AM; late arrivals must enter Door #1 by the Church Office on the front (North) side of the building and sign in.
How do I make sure my child has 180 school days as required by the Indiana Department of Education?
BTHE works alongside you, the home school parent, with dates of attendance while attending BTHE classes. Home school parents must keep an accurate school day attendance record for their own students; find out more at the Indiana Board of Education Homeschool Help Sheet
