Art Adventures with Famous Artists
Pack your imagination - we're traveling through art history! In this playful, hands-on class, young artists will explore the world of famous artists from the past and present. Students will learn about artists through stories, pictures, and fun discussions. Lessons are inspired by the artist's style,
using materials like paint, pastels, collage, and clay. This class builds creativity, fine motor skills, and art vocabulary while showing students there are many ways to make art.
Class Supplies Needed: Pencils, eraser, scissors, glue sticks, and Sharpie markers.
Please provide a labeled art box or large sealable bag for supplies. Siblings are welcome to share supplies that remain in the art room.

Art Lab: Draw It, Paint It, Make It
Grab your pencils, brushes, and imagination! In this high-energy art class, students will explore drawing and painting through fun projects, creative challenges, and bold experimentation. We'll sketch from life, play with color, shade like pros, and create in a variety styles - from realistic to imaginative. This class is all about building skills, confidence, and a personal art style while having fun making art.
Class Supplies Needed: Pencils, eraser, scissors, glue sticks, black Sharpie marker, and a plain wide ruled composition book to turn into an art journal.
Please provide a labeled art box or large sealable bag for supplies to remain in the art room.

Art Club: Create, Explore, and Have Fun
Art Club is a fun, relaxed space where students can explore creativity and make art just for the joy of it! Artists will experiment with a variety of materials and techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, crafts, and mixed media. Projects are designed to be flexible so younger students can learn
basic skills while older students are encouraged to add details and try new challenges. This club focuses on imagination, teamwork, and self-expression - no pressure, just creativity, curiosity, and lots of colorful fun!
Class Supplies Needed: Pencils, eraser, scissors, glue sticks, black Sharpie marker, and a plain wide ruled composition book for use as an art journal.

Drawing & Painting (2D Focus)
Students will use many drawing mediums, paints and brushes, and imagination! In this art class students will explore drawing and painting through projects, creative challenges, and experimentation. We will sketch from life, play with color, shade, and paint in a variety of styles - from realistic to imaginative. This class is all about building skills, confidence, and a personal art style while creating.
Weekly sketchbook assignments are designed to keep skills sharp and expand art knowledge.
Class Supplies Needed: Pencils, eraser, 8 1/2 x 11" (or larger) sketchbook, and Sharpie markers.

Clay and Sculpture Creations: Spin and Sculpt (3D Focus)
Get ready to get your hands dirty - in the best possible way! This ceramics workshop introduces students to the magical world of clay and other mediums. We willl pinch, coil, slab, and sculpt functional and sculptural pieces. Wheel throwing will be introduced. Students will experiment with texture, form, and glaze to create one-of-a-kind artworks. From bowls and cups to imaginative sculptures, this class is perfect for makers who love to build, shape, and create in 3D.
Class Supplies Needed: Pencils, eraser, 8 1/2 x 11"(or larger) sketchbook, and Sharpie markers. Future items needed may be of a recycled material.
